Bumbong Puto

Another ang sarap, ethnic Kakanin, originating from ILo ILo. A blend of black, glutinous and plain rice, steamed in a bamboo steamer. Should be served warm after sprinkling with fresh coco nut and muscovado sugar, (supplied).  Note - its even better with a chunk of melted butter, similar to eating BarBQ  sweet corn and yes I know its supposed to be Puto Bumbong but much to Imeldas annoyance I think the way I have put it, sounds more interesting.
